Services

I offer two labor support packages. Please contact me for pricing.

Basic Birth Package

A complementary initial consultation.

Two prenatal visits to discuss your preferences and to prepare for your birth. These discussions can include the stages of labor, packing your birth bag, creating your birth plan, and evidence-based maternity care. I demonstrate Optimal Fetal Positioning activities so that you can prepare in advance for labor, as well as labor comfort measures using the birth ball and rebozo.

Unlimited email, phone and text support.

Continuous emotional, physical, and informational support for both you and your partner throughout labor and the delivery of your baby. Comfort measures that I tend to provide include massage, suggestions for position changes, acupressure, hand-holding, brow-wiping, plus lots of encouragement.

Remaining with you for up to two hours after your birth to initiate breastfeeding as well as help you get situated with your new baby.

A postpartum follow-up visit to check in on you and your family.

My services include preparation for VBAC births and planned Caesarean births.

Premium Birth Package

My premium birth package includes all of the above services, plus six hours of postpartum doula care for you and your family.

As your postpartum doula I care for you and your family in your home within the first several weeks after the birth of your baby. This includes emotional and physical support, companionship, assistance with newborn care, sibling adjustment if applicable, light meal preparation, and basic household organization. As a Certified Lactation Counselor, I can assist you with establishing your breastfeeding relationship, as well as to provide evidence-based information on newborn feeding. I can also offer support during your postpartum recovery and provide resources if necessary.

Placenta Encapsulation

Placenta encapsulation can be added to either birth package. Please indicate if you are interested in placenta encapsulation as well when you Contact Me. For more information about placenta encapsulation, please see Placenta Encapsulation FAQs.
